Campaign for Slater Woods

Thanks you to all who have contributed to Slater Woods! Special thanks to the generous member who donated the shortfall.  Every contribution has helped and every one was needed. The Dudley Conservation Land Trust is a 100% volunteer organization, so every penny of you tax deductible contribution has gone directly toward this beautiful land!

The acquisition of this land will provide a mile and a half green corridor from the Massachusetts Audubon land on Dudley Oxford Rd. to DCLT’s Hiland Park on Peter Pond. Click here to download a Slater Woods Brochure as PDF .pdf or send your donation payable to DCLT at P.O. Box 14, Dudley, MA 01571. Thank you again!

Update on Slater Woods

The Dudley Conservation Land Trust is pleased to announce that the 74 acre “Slater Woods” parcel was purchased in February 2011.  Thank you to the four grant organizations and more than 75 local donors who made this project a reality!  With everyone’s efforts, we now have a new 1.5 mile long open space corridor that connects 200+ acres of conservation land from Dudley-Oxford Road to Peter Pond.  This open space corridor will provide land for wildlife; trails for the public and assist in the preservation of this still rural part of Dudley.
