What We Do

We are blessed in the Dudley area to have such a beautiful landscape of farms, forests, rivers and ponds. These lands help define who we are, and are critical to our quality of life. The fate of this resource is also in our hands. Working together, we can protect our fields and woodlands, our panoramic views, and our water resources so future generations will have the same opportunity as we do to enjoy these special places.

If you are landowner in the Dudley area interested in discussing conservation options for your land, please contact Paul Wieloch at (508) 949-0250 or email us at DCLTrust@aol.com. Review DCLT Land Acquisition Guidelines.

The DCLT owns almost 350 acres of conservation land in Dudley and Oxford. All of these lands are open to the public. With ownership comes responsibility. Every property has a dedicated land steward that improves and maintains trials, checks boundary lines and protects its conservation values. Please give thanks to the stewards for their work, and remember to respect the property on your walks. Learn more about DCLT Sanctuary Rules & Guidelines.

The DCLT is also about having fun and enjoying the fellowship of people! Our most popular community outreach event is our annual Plant Sale. Here folks have the opportunity to purchase vegetables seedlings, flowers and perennials and support the DCLT at the same time. Learn More about the Annual DCLT Plant Sale.

The DCLT also offers:

Nature walks on our sanctuaries, as well as other conservation lands in the area.

Educational programs.

A bi-annual newsletter mailed free to our members.

An annual scholarship to a graduating high school student interested in a career in agriculture, wildlife management and conservation. Learn more about the DCLT Scholarship.
